Auromancer[edit]

Warlock Subclass

A king in the past, guided by his greed and yet very kind, met a suffering man and gave him shelter and care, this man was a great friend and follower of the God Dionysus, the God knowing the kindness of the King to his friend gave him the right to a great request, the King guided by his greed ended up asking that everything he touched become gold, this desire proved to be more evil than it could be, when the King accidentally realized that he could never drink, eat or even see his daughter, for the same turned her into pure gold.

The King begged them to take this power away from him, the Gods realized the genuine repulsion and regret of the King, and so it was done, the King would never turn things into gold again, but still wanting to leave the gift to the King, the Gods gave him the option to control the gold that already existed in the world, King Midas was the first Auromancer and soon became the patron of many others.

An Auromancer does not necessarily have to follow a God connected to greed or avarice, or King Midas himself, Gods connected to Fortune or luck can provide these powers as well or you could have learned theses powers with a Devil or Demon.

Physical Alteration[edit]

Your body has been modified by the golden power you carry, your eyes now have a golden iris, from your hands to your forearms you can see a layer of gold that is perfectly fair on your skin, the more tired you get, the less gold you have on your arms and when you use magic, the gold on your arms goes up to your shoulders and down to your chest and neck.

Expanded Spell List[edit]

Because gold is a great conductor of electricity, Auromancers have an affinity for electrical spells, you get these spells added to your spell list and you can have a number of spells from this list added to your spell list without counting towards your spell limit, equal to your proficiency bonus.

Spell Level Spells
1st command, protection from evil and good
2nd enhance ability, magic weapon
3rd lightning spear, lightning bolt
4th fabricate, *stone shape
5th creation, sunlight spear
  • Stone Shape can work with metals or stone

A Golden Warrior with a Golden Weapon[edit]

At 1st level, you gain proficiency with medium armor, shields, and martial weapons. You are can turn everything you touch in gold as long those things are in your hand, and this affects your way of fighting, with a lot of flashy moves and constant movement flow that make you look like liquid gold moving. Choose one weapon you are proficient with, you can add your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength and Dexterity modifier to attack and damage rolls made with it.

You can choose a different weapon by practicing with it during a long rest.

(If you are using the Pact of The Blade or any Pact Boon that gives a weapon (natural weapon, unarmed damage, etc.) it can receive the effect of this feature, but you can only choose one weapon or Pact Boon to have this feature.)

Starting at 6th level, your Golden Weapon is counted as magical and deals additional lightning damage equal to your Charisma modifier as gold is a very good conductor of electricity and of your will.

Golden Manipulation[edit]

At 1st level, you can manipulate and create gold and other metals at a lower level of manipulation, but sadly the gold you make becomes its original material after 12 seconds of not being in contact with you, you know the geo control cantrip and it does not count against your number of cantrips known, in addition to the cantrip's original effects, you can create a weapon made of pure gold, this weapon is always under your Golden Weapon Effects but it only can be make light or finesse weapons (such as a dagger or a rapier).

King's Armor[edit]

Starting at 6th level, your Golden Arms grows more powerful. Your body is now hard as metal and every armor that you use have a layer of flashy golden details and a the armor can never be dirty, even by magical means. During a long or short rest you can choose a armor and the armor will receive your Charisma modifier as bonus AC. This bonus can be used on light armor, half (rounded down) on Medium Armor, and +2 on Heavy Armor (if you have proficiency).

You can choose to change your King's Armor during a short or long rest.

Wall of the King[edit]

Starting at 10th level, you can now make a Wall Of Gold to defend and attack at the same time, you can make a wall made of pure gold (up to 30ft wide, 40ft tall, 5ft deep). It has a 50 Hit Points equal and an AC of 15. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

If you make the wall below a creature, the creature makes a Dexterity saving throw (against your spell save DC) as the wall pushes the creature 40 + your Charisma score (rounded to nearest 5) ft, this Wall can be made in from any surface (even from the ceiling and walls) to crush targets, when crushing a target it needs to make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be paralyzed inside the Wall of Gold (the Auromancer can make openings to the creature breath or not, The Wall is counted as a Huge creature for the sake of a Auromancer trying to Crush a Giant or any creature of Huge size or above).

This wall will disappear and any gold pieces that where broken or cut after 12 second, once combat ends, or when you dismiss it.

Avatar Of Gold[edit]

Your Golden Arms become it's powerful as it can by, starting at 14th level you can become the Avatar Of Gold. In this form you body is covered in layers of thick golden armor with shades of White/Black details, this form can be maintained by 1 minute and after this time you need to make a Constitution saving throw of DC (20 - your Charisma modifier) to not suffer 1 level of exhaustion.

  • Your move speed increases by 30 feet.
  • Your AC increases by +2.
  • Due to your body become harder than adamantine, you have resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage and critical hits are counted as normal hits.
  • You ignore any exhaustion points that you have at the start of this form.
  • Every time you deal damage with a warlock cantrip or attack with a melee or ranged weapon, add 1d6 lightning damage to the target.
  • If you are, restrained, paralyzed, petrified, or grappled you automatically come out of this condition in a burst of golden lightning damaging whoever caused you one of these condition by your Charisma modifier.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses at the end of a long rest.

You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Will of Hades (Prerequisite: Auromancer Patron)

The God of the Underworld is the wisest of all, Hades has provided you with the ability to absorb the vitality of your enemies and send them directly to the depths of the river Styx.
