Aranea descendant[edit]

Personality[edit]

Aranea-kins name themselves as "Aranerins", similar to name of their ancestors Aranea. Despite this similarities in names, Aranerins put themselves above their distant parent, proving that they are more perfect and complete. Unlike aranea, they are not hunted by humankind, and don't crave for humans flesh that much. Some of Aranerins still can succumb to their animal desires and live aside big cities in small towns or in closed communes. Despite a part of bloodlust creature inside their mind, some of them still try to socialize in big cities and do it with great successful, thanks to their skills.

Physical Description[edit]

Aranerins have strong connection both to their bloodlines. Despite they cannot turn themself to a monstrous big spider, they still have true forms. The first is a unique Small or Medium humanoid; an aranea in its humanoid form always assumes the same appearance and traits, much as a lycanthrope would. In humanoid form, an aranea cannot use its special attacks.

The second form is a true form: Medium spider–humanoid hybrid. In hybrid form, an aranea looks like a Medium humanoid at first glance, but a DC 25 Spot check reveals the creature’s fangs and claws.

Relations[edit]

Relations between Aranerins and other races depends on their whereabouts. Aranerins that live in cities make contact with any races exept drow, cause most of them are suspicious to this spider-kind creatures. Some of drow think of them like blessed by Lloth, some of them think their existence is ungodly. But, in case that Aranerins most of the time remains in their human form, they make contacts with anyone. Aranerins that live in their little closed society are in no exeptional needs in making relationships.
