Additional Loot Drops[edit]

In the section of the monster block where equipment drops are listed, you can expand on that to give more than just equipment. Mimicking how games like Monster Hunter go, have monsters drop their own body parts and blood for players to pick up and interact with. Some rare monsters might have medicinal bones that a player well versed in Heal or Nature could discern. Utilization of monster body parts for new tools and crafting is also an option. This can be a way, if so wished, for players to maybe make their own magical items as supply sees fit, instead of just finding magic items in a dungeon chest. For example, when it is due time for such an upgrade, the players might kill a dragon and harvest its drop of scales and spend time to make themselves dragonscale armor, instead of having the DM just give that to them.
