Way of the Inner Light (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
The Way of the Inner Light is a path of introspection, and is focused more on using ki to heal, rather than harm. A monk of this discipline is not meant to be taken lightly in a fight, however.
|A Monk of the Inner Light's abilities provide useful support.|
Upon following this Monastic Tradition at level 3, you gain the following abilities:
- As an bonus action, use xd8 to heal yourself, or a willing creature that you touch, spending an amount of ki equal to the amount of xd8 used, to a maximum of 10 ki at a time. You add your wisdom modifier to the result of the total roll used this way. If the target is healed to it's Hp maximum the unused Hp points is transferred to you as temporary ki points every 3 points over is equal to 1 ki. This has no effect on undead or constructs. The target must be wounded to use this feature.
- As a reaction, you may spend 1 ki to impose disadvantage on an attack roll made against a creature that you can see within 30 feet. You also gain +1 AC after this effect resolves as a part of the same reaction in 1 hour this effect resolves.
- As an action, you may spend all of your ki points (minimum of 5) to revive 1 dead creature that you touch and they can only be revived until 1 hour after death and reset all of their death saving throws in an unconscious state. You gain 1 level of exhaustion after this effect resolve
At level 6, you may add additional radiant damage equal to your wisdom modifier and your Dexterity modifier to creatures that you hit with Unarmed Strikes and add your wisdom modifier to all your Unarmed Strikes attack rolls. Any opponent that has been hit by Radiant Blows can not cause a critical hit on their next turn.
At level 11, you gain the ability to spend 3 ki points to heal two creatures that you touch by 3d6 plus your wisdom modifier and they gain temporary HP equal to that of the rolled number rolled, you also gain the effects of the Heroism spell without consuming any spell slots or having to concentrate, the spellcasting modifier is equal to the current number of ki points after this effect resolve. Creatures 5 feet away from you that have been affected by Healing Hands gain advantage on their first attack on any creature.
Avatar of High Light
At level 17, you may cast the spell Holy Aura and Beacon of Hope without spell slots or material components for 1 hour each once. You must wait 1 full day and complete a short or long rest to use this feature again. If a creature you attack that has resistance to blugening and/or radiance damage and it is affected by Radiant Blows the resistance(s) becomes weakness(es).
