Talk:Destructive Strength (5e Feat)

---Right now, before the edit I made, this feat is pretty trash, even though it seems strong at first glance. In most games by the level this can be taken, and at the ability mod you'll usually have, then, getting maximized damage on up to (usually) only 5 damage dice only once per long rest, is almost useless. Perhaps an edit of "this may only be used once per turn" or "once per instance of rolling damage dice" might be appropriate, but the limit of once per long rest, level 1-20, is the same garbage that makes 5e in general very lackluster. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 96.32.53.131 (talkcontribs) . Being perfectly honest, this feat is hardly even clear on what it's trying to accomplish and it needs to be either rewritten completely in a more understandable manner or deleted. Please remember to sign your posts. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 10:10, 7 February 2021 (MST)

Frankly the feature is extremely appealing for great axe and lance users. just straight up 12 damage all the time. We already have the fighting style to raise average damage without going completely over the top --some randomguy
