Spellcasting Questions[edit]

Neither the spellcasting feature or the class table mention the number of spell slots you get. Maybe i need to further explain my issue with the class as it is: you have a column of "spells known", but not a number of spell slots. If this class can't cast spells, only imbue the attacks with the spells, this must be clarified, and the number of spells from 6th to 9th level that can be used must be limited to one.

Anastacio, Thank you for telling me! In spellcasting, it says that you must prepare spells, so you cannot cast them at random. You have a spell list, and you have your prepared spells. If you have a problem with this, tough.

Hi DarkWhispers, you appear to have misinterpreted how preparation works in 5th edition D&D. You do not prepare spells to slots as is done in 3rd edition; in 5e, spell preparation just determines your list of spells that you have for any given day, but you can cast any spell from that list any number of times as long as you have spell slots remaining. Because the Bonded class doesn't list spell slots, it seems as though it has no limit whatsoever on the number of spells this character can cast in a given day. Please have a look at the cleric for an example of how to do this in 5th edition.

I apologize, Anastacio. I misinterpreted your earlier statement. I added spell slots. Also, there are plenty of spellcasting classes on this website without spell slots. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by DarkWhispers (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.
