Garden Gnome[edit]

These Miniature Gnomes share much with their larger brethren, Loving the very essence of life and enjoying its pleasures seeming to not get enough of it. Always the jokesters Garden Gnomes love puns, jokes, and bright flash's of colorful light.

While being tiny has its downside Garden Gnomes live their life with full force doing whatever they love with no hesitations or doubts about wasting it, being taught that life is better when you are doing something you love. Being tiny they often rely on the help of animal companions like squirrels, rabbits, and chickens to help with daily life.

Most races welcome Garden Gnomes with open arms loving their good nature and intricate attention to details in their work especially jewelry where their tiny stature gives them an advantage in adding details to their work.

Physical Description[edit]

Garden Gnomes look just like regular Gnomes just miniature

Garden Gnomes are Tiny-sized creature, standing between 6 inches to a foot tall.

History[edit]

Garden Gnomes split off from their fellow Gnomes choosing to live in tiny communities. Garden Gnomes got their name due to the fact they where often hired to look after garden's fending off bugs and small animals and caring for the plants.

Society[edit]

Garden Gnome society is lively and vibrant everyone has their place in a loving and nurturing village, this loving and nurturing tendency extends to their animals, plants, and guests. Needing only so little to live happy life's they tend to receive help from other races nearby due to their willingness to trade their crafted goods.

Garden Gnome Names[edit]

Garden Gnomes love their names often having a dozen names for themselves and their kind however they understand the importance of names to other races and will use two names those being Personal name and Clan name.

Garden Gnome Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2
Age. Garden Gnomes tiny size gives them an advantage when it comes to aging increasing their life span living between 500-600 Years
Alignment. Garden Gnomes tend towards good alignment being raised in a loving and nurturing society they love to help others in need.
Size. Garden Gnomes height ranges from roughly 6 inches tall to a foot tall . Your size is Tiny.
Speed. The base walking speed of a Garden Gnome is 15 feet, their climbing speed is 15 feet, and their swimming speed is 10 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Animal Friend / Performer. You are proficient in either the Animal Handling or the Performance skill.
Simple Magic Tricks. you know the cantrip prestidigitation
Tiny Size. You can move through the space of any creature that is any size larger than you.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Gnomish
Subrace. Choose from the Deep Gnome, Rock Gnome, and Forest Gnome subraces.

Deep Gnome[edit]

Descended from Deep Gnomes

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1
Stone Camouflage. You have advantage on Dexterity stealth checks to hide in rocky terrain.
Superior Darkvision. Your Darkvison has a radius of 120 feet.

Rock Gnome[edit]

Descended from Rock Gnomes

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Artificer's Lore. Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to magical, alchemical, or technological items, you can add twice your proficiency bonus instead of any other proficiency bonus that may apply.
Tinker. You have proficiency with artisan tools (tinker's tools). Using those tools, you can spend 1 hour and 10 gp worth of materials to construct a Tiny clockwork device (AC 5, 1 hp). The device ceases to function after 24 hours (unless you spend 1 hour repairing it to keep the device functioning), or when you use your action to dismantle it; at that time, you can reclaim the materials used to create it. You can have up to three such devices active at a time. When you create a device, choose one of the following options: Clockwork Toy. This toy is a clockwork animal, monster, or person, such as a frog, mouse, bird, dragon, or soldier. When placed on the ground, the toy moves 5 feet across the ground on each of your turns in a random direction. It makes noises as appropriate to the creature it represents. Fire Starter. The device produces a miniature flame, which you can use to light a candle, torch, or campfire. Using the device requires your action. Music Box. When opened, this music box plays a single song at a moderate volume. The box stops playing when it reaches the song's end or when it is closed.

Descended from Forest Gnomes

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Natural Illusionist. you know the cantrip minor illusion Intelligence is your spellcasting modifier for it.
Speak with small beasts.. Through sound and gestures, you may communicate simple ideas with small or smaller beasts.
