Dragon Knight[edit]

Fighter Subclass

In service to the Draconoids, these expert warriors learn to harness the power of their roars to heal themselves as well as their allies. A Squad of these Dragon Knights is said to be invincible in close quarters combat and even more-so when backed-up by their Masters. Many Knights start off in training by sending years at war or surviving in extreme biomes. Some even have to take trials before they can inherit this power from them. (The source of power for this subclass is supposed to be a dragon in which the player serves, but you could change this origin as you see fit.)

Draconic Master

Starting at 3rd level, choose a dragon lord to serve under. This dragon lord is an Ancient Dragon of one of the following types: Chromatic (black, blue, green, red or white); or Metallic (brass, bronze, copper, gold and silver). You gain one skill tied to your draconic group and one related to your chosen dragon: Persuasion (Metallic) or Intimidation (Chromatic); and Perception.

You also learn how to speak, read and write in draconic.

Frightening Roar

At 3rd level, you can unleash a powerful scream that terrifies your enemies and embolden your allies. When you use your Second Wind, you can use an Action to force each creature of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failed save, a creature becomes frightened of you for 1 minute. The frightened creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

You can choose one allied creature for each frightened creature to gain temporary hit points equal to your fighter level.

Patron Blessing

At 7th level, you add twice your proficiency bonus to checks made with the skills gained due to your chosen patron.

Dragon's Fury

When you reach the 10th level, when you use your Action Surge feature, you can choose one creature within 60 feet that is allied to you and has a Breath Weapon. That creature regain the use of its Breath Weapon and can instantly use it, as a reaction.

Starting at 18th level, you can choose two allies within 60 feet of you, rather than one.

Legendary Resilience

At 15th level, you and your allies gain the benefits of the legendary resilience of dragons. When you or a friendly creature you can see within 60 feet makes a saving throw, you can spend a use of Indomitable to automatically succeed. You must make this choice before rolling the die.
