Welcome to D&D Wiki!
Hello Nomnomking and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing it is recommended you make sure your user preferences match your preferences. I am an admin (and, actually, the owner as well). Everything relating to admins can be found here.
If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that pages talk page. All other questions should be asked to another; user, admin, or me, the owner (ask me a question).
Formatting on D&D Wiki (or any wiki for that matter) can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Again, if you have any questions about formatting on D&D Wiki please ask them as, I imagine, anybody will be more than happy to help you get them answered.
A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. Most discussions take place on content talk pages, however please feel free to ask specific D&D-related questions on DnD Discussions. Anyway, possibly since discussions are never deleted, people try to be nice. This means follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything. Also, on a pretty different note, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (). This will automatically produce your name and the date. Anyway, I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon 11:45, 19 October 2010 (MDT)
4e Character Backgrounds
Hi, and welcome to the wiki. We don't have a lot of 4e content around here, and it's great to have another person who is willing to write some content. I personally don't know 4e very well. I read the books back when they were launched, but only got to play a short game about 2 years ago, so I don't know the system that well. That is why I'm writing here. I've seen you've written quite a few Character Backgrounds. I am wondering if these are a concept you've created, or if they were released in some WotC product. We should definitely be including some sort of identifier after the name. I know for 3.5e we have traits and flaws, and you'll find every trait has (3.5e Trait) after the name. We should agree on what the best identifier/tag is for these pages, and then move all the pages you've created to include the tag. Thanks, and keep up the good work. --Badger 01:43, 29 October 2010 (MDT)
No Badger they weren't released. one of my friends came up with the idea and we have used them ever since. If you would like i can put them under a different category or remove them altogether.

- No, they can stay as far as I care. We should probably just find a good identifier. Leave a message on Green Dragon's talk page asking what would be best. My vote would be for something like (4e Character Option). Alternatively, you could just move the page to a (4e Variant Rule), and list all of these backgrounds on a single page, along with instructions of how they are to be used, and their pros and cons. --Badger 09:40, 29 October 2010 (MDT)
Well its okay i already moved them they are now under Background Bonuses. Thanks for letting me know. Any other constructive criticism would be appreciated.

D&D 4.0 Future Sourcebook
- Would you mind helping me out with my sourcebook, D&D 4.0 Future? I've got stuff to be filled in, like vehicles, races (From Star Wars, Metroid Prime Hunters, Halo if so desired). Just tell me what you think. Thanks.
