Kime's Magic Missle
9th-level Evocation (ritual)
Casting time: 1 minute
Range: 100 miles
Components: 20 gem worth at least 300 GP
Duration: Up to 1 hour


You take 1 minute to prepare an area for an all-out strike by planting gems which would become full on hyper-magical artillery shots. Starting this spell creates a huge blast of magical energy making everything within 40 feet (including you) within the 30-foot-radius prepared area takes 5d8 force damage. After the ritual is complete, all prepared missiles are launched upwards into the lower-middle layer of the stratosphere before coming careening down towards a target area within 100 miles of the launching zone that you choose. This cannot be changed after launch. After a varied amount of time, the missile comes back down on the target location chosen and sends a wave of magical energy dealing 20d12 plus 20 times your spellcasting modifier damage to anyone within a 150-foot-radius from the epicenter of the chosen area.
