Just a Quick Hello[edit]

Greetings to the few that chance my userpage. I am Mr. Farrago, patron deity of a motley assortment of things. I'm in the process of posting some of the work that I have done, homebrew and the sort. I'm a n00b to creating wiki articles, I don't have all that fancy code whatnot memorized quite yet, so bear with me, this could take a while. Either way, I hope to have things worked out in the near future.

User Info[edit]

Because I'm DM, that's why!
  • Name: Mr. Dustin Lorn Bailey Kyran Sinclair Wendell Tristram Louis Nathanael Alpha Benjamin Wallace Farrago
  • Age: Hmm. In life I've seen XV of a Twelvemonth pass beyond my eyes. Other than that, I don't know what to say.
  • Preferred Class: Either Sorcerer, Cleric, or Monk.
  • Preferred Race: I love playing as elves for the most part. I do enjoy Humans, Satyrs, Hobgoblins, Tieflings, and Pixies however.
  • Current Job: DMing my awesome campaign wherein I am manipulating and exploiting the internal conflict amid my players for shits and giggles
  • Interests: DnD, some weird ass spiritual junk, the internet, umm... DnD, my girlfriend, DnD. Not much else really.

Me - "Okay. So, you have four vampires on one side, a pair of Gray Renders on the other, the ceiling is solid rock as is the floor, there's five Dread Wraiths in magical cages around the corner, the vampires hold the keys, and my DMPC's, specifically the Evoker with her massive offensive power and natural hatred for vampires, are all left back at the camp. What do you do now?"

My DnD Experience[edit]

I started playing about 4-5 years ago. I was sitting in my friend Alexander's basement with him when his dad comes out with a huge leather backpack. Inside we find none other than original 1.0 rulebooks. The DM's guide, Monster Manual, Players Handbook, Deities and Demigods, you name it. Amid the several hundred dice they were there.

Starting that campaign out as an Elf Ranger, I quickly grew to love the game even more, considering that at 5th level in 1.0 I had made myself the captain of a town guard, fought off at least three invasions, and killed a tribe of trolls with Alexander.

Soon it began growing, I had myself, Alexander, my kid brother, and my friend Schmitty all playing. That lasted for only a short while, seeing as how Alexander's dad refused to DM for us anymore, Alexander took up the mantle.

Our little geek cult grew into a larger setting, and after several campaigns that lasted for 3 sessions at the most, we find ourselves here. I am the current DM, leading a party of seven now to their deaths many times over.

I have played in the settings of 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5. Once 4.0 came out, I looked at it, and literally, I kid you not, I cried. I wept that DnD had been n00bed down for the new generation of happy-go-lucky non-geeks that want to play. Reading the 4.0 players handbook is the most frustrating thing for me to do, regardless. It's nearly as bad as reading Twilight.

Either way, my current campaign goes well, and I hope to find new ways to ki-, I mean, lead my party to new adventures!
