Winter Goddess (4e Deity)
From D&D Wiki
Spring Goddess, Summer God, Autumn Goddess, and Winter Goddess are the unaligned seasonal Minor Gods. When the Major Gods created the physical plane, they also created the Minor Gods. The Minor Gods are more involved in the physical plane than the Major Gods. Minor Gods have shrines, chapels, temples, worshippers, and clerics; they are worshipped by the majority of people, especially in human cultures.
The Winter Goddess is also known as Cheimon, Raven Queen and the Winter-Death Goddess.
Clerics of the Winter Goddess/Cheimon/Raven Queen must meet the standard clerical requirements and can be from any race and any alignment. They must constantly appease Winter with sacrifices of food, water, and dead nature or animals, made at least weekly. The high festival day is the 1st day of Eis (January), which is the first day of the new year, and is known as Goddess' Day.
In Bronze City is the Holy Cathedral of Hope dedicated to the four Minor Gods (Spring Goddess, Summer God, Autumn Goddess, and Winter Goddess).
A divergent and evil cult of Cheimon aka the Raven Queen is Vecna, Winter-Death god of the undead (same as Vecna of Forgotten Realms). There is constant violence between the Winter Cults, the female idea against the male idea.
