Weapon (any sword), rare (requires attunement)

Once applied to a weapon it gains the following features.

HARSH WINTER: while holding the weapon you take 1d4 ice damage on the start of you turn. When you make a successful melee attack you deal an extra 1d8 ice damage.

WINTER'S GALE: Starting at level 5, As an action you can stab the weapon into the ground causing a wave of ice to stretch in a 20 foot cone in front of you. Any one in the radius take 2d12 ice damage and have there movement cut to 0. On successful dexterity saving throw their movement speed is cut in half and they suffer half damage. (this ability can be used equal to you Constitution modifier per long rest)
