A Werepyre is a were-vampire of sorts, it can change into an animal form and suck your blood at the same time.

Creating a Werepyre[edit]

Werepyre is an inherited template that can apply to humanoids. It is effectively a mix of a vampire and lycan. They don't have a hybrid form but gain any abilities in human form instead.

Size and Type[edit]

Size and type of base creature.

Hit Dice[edit]

As base creature.

Speed[edit]

As base creature if in non-animal form, as animal in animal form.

Armor Class[edit]

+4 Natural Armor

Attack[edit]

Gains the animals attacks if in animal form.

Full Attack[edit]

As animal or base creature.

Special Attacks[edit]

A Werepyre retains the special attacks of the base creature or base animal, depending on which form it is using, and also gains the special attacks described below.

Energy Drain (Su): Living creatures hit by a Werepyre’s natural attacks gain two negative levels. For each negative level bestowed, the Werepyre gains 5 temporary hit points. A Werepyre can use its energy drain ability once per round.

Special Qualities[edit]

A Werepyre retains all the special qualities of the base creature and the base animal, and also gains those described below.

Alternate Form (Su): A Werepyre can assume the form of a specific animal (as indicated in its entry). It does not assume the ability scores of the animal, but instead adds the animal’s physical ability score modifiers to its own ability scores. Changing to or from animal form is a standard action.

Damage Reduction (Su): A Werepyre in animal has damage reduction 10/silver and magic. A Werepyre's natural weapons while in animal form are treated as magic weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

Low-Light Vision (Ex): A Werepyre has low-light vision in animal form.

Fast Healing (Ex): In Animal form a Werepyre heals 5 points of damage each round.

When in animal form gain bonus to physical scores as animal scores −10.
