Tarekaya[edit]

Alignment. Neutral good
Domains. Tempest, Unity
Divine Rank. Greater Deity

Among the twelves thrones of Grisaire, there many mixes of morality and temperaments. Tarekaya is an excellent example of this. Often depicted as a two-headed dragon deity, Tarekaya embodies numerous dichotomous concepts that are inextricably intertwined. Creation and destruction, male and female, calm and tempest. These are not separate but, in fact, ingrained into everything in a union that is not always harmonious. As such, sometimes Tarekaya's heads will sometimes be shown fighting each other rather than enemies.

Aspects[edit]

Being a literal two-in-one sort of deity, Tarekaya encompasses of aspects across Grisaire. Different dragonborn spread across the world often take to different aspects of her and are her most faithful base. There are also small communities of other humanoids, like elves, that worship her natural aspects.

Fragoth, Avatar of Storms[edit]

Fragoth is the temperamental aspect of storms, particularly those that appear on seemingly calm days. Sky vehicles in Aerzale often carry some kind of charm in reverence of Fragoth to hope for a safe flight. Similarly, along the gulf of Aerzale, particularly in the fishing Arracosta region, sailors have many superstitions of charms and methods to appease Fragoth. There are stories of calm skies that suddenly turned stormy immediately and sunk several ships in the Karis Gulf. Fragoth appears as a dark, multiheaded draconic creature whose full body has never been seen above water. The heads swirl about and can send little whirlpools that can capsize ships with ease.
