Balance[edit]

I like the flavor alot, but still gaining 4 hp per lever and immunity is powerful. what about a bonus on saves vs fatigue and pain spells maybe? this is ripe for abuse by beople who stand in the back and dont really see combat any way. for a wiz/sor who's actually playin like a wiz/sorc gets double his hp for no real loss.--Name Violation 21:55, 4 October 2009 (MDT)

+2 HP per level, actually (it's normally 1 HP per 2 points of Constitution). But I worry if that's still too much? I'm not too worried about the immunity to pain effects being abused, since there really aren't that many pain effects in the game.Dude Bob 15:44, 5 October 2009 (MDT)
i just think free hp (especially when its twice as good as improved toughness) is powerful. i'd say drop the free xp, nad let them go on a forced march with no check. not feeling pain doesnt mean more xp, but it does let you push yourself harder, but you also can just drop from exaustion .--Name Violation 00:18, 6 October 2009 (MDT)
I'll run some test encounters with my group to see exactly how much of a handicap it is to not know your remaining hit points. In the meantime, I've nerfed it down to +1 hp per level (on par with Improved Toughness) Dude Bob 17:25, 18 October 2009 (MDT).

My old DM wouldn't tell us our HP. had to make heal checks to figure out about how damaged we were, ie, ok, hurt, really f*cked up. Doesnt really do much other than make the cleric waste rounds--Name Violation 17:58, 18 October 2009 (MDT)

I suggest that even though the character with this trait might not feel pain, he can at least look at his body to see wounds, so I think that maybe there should be a slight amount you would be able to tell. For example, if I was the DM, I would say how much health they had, but by percentage rounded up to the nearest 25%, or 33%. Or at least I would use a system of injury level if I wanted to keep it more... realistic (1-33%=Highly Injured, 34-66%=Injured, 67-100%=Okay)--KeeganKLM 15:45, 28 October 2014 (MDT)
