Looking to balance this, I have a faint idea how that can be done. Does look like it could be a fun race of balanced correctly!

The Traits Acute Senses and Sneaky. If a subrace is chosen they should be replaced with the subrace traits, if a subrace isn't chosen, these would be chosen by default.

With the Descendent subrace the trait Wild Survivor, instead of advantage on checks, they could instead be proficiency? The trait Natural Hunter, instead of advantage to Stealth in any form, I feel changing that to proficiency in Stealth would work better, I'm unsure of the second part of this trait, input would be appreciated.

If anything the Descendent subrace does seem more like a background if anything. But that's my thought on it. Any ideas for changes on that would be nice.

The Draconic Subrace: I'm unsure about the damage increase for it's breath attack, and keeping it to 2d6 seems like a better choice. That way for example with the Dragon Form trait. at 16th level you aren't firing off a 4d6 breath attack every turn.

As for the 18th level fluff feature, as interesting as it does sound for the race to gain tails as it grows in level, that can instead be put into it's age. Say for every 50 years of life that it has lived, they grow a tail up to nine tails?
