Fantastic changes!! This is much more balanced. One of my players wanted to play this Half-Breed and I would allow this in my game. Thanks!

So, are we just adding in new Traits until we get back to the unbalanced mess from before?

I think using the Half Breed system outlined here is a good measuring stick on what to include... http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?483241-5e-Half-Breed-System - I would toss in Darkvision as Mountain Born is not super powerful, and most half-breeds with a parent with darkvision usually inherit it. Modified to fit this approach. It feels much more balanced to my DM's eye.

Goliath Major: +2 Str, Stone's Endurance Minor: +1 Con, Mountain Born, Powerful Build Languages: Giant

Orc: Major: +2 Str, Relentless Endurance, Savage Attacks Minor: +1 Con, Darkvision, Menacing Language: Orc

First, I'm glad you liked the changed I (attempted) to make. Unfortunately anonymous edits are allowed on this wiki, and many anonymous users seem to have no qualms about adding more and better features to races and classes without justification. I've only been here a couple months, but I've learned to pay little heed to someone who can't be bothered to make an account or include an edit summary... Normally it's pretty easy to undo these kinds of edits from the the history tab, but it seems like you made some differently flavored manual changes instead.
Anyway, ignoring those anonymous summary-devoid edits, the only functional difference between your current version and my former one is replacing Aggressive (an Orc trait) with Relentless Endurance (a Half-Orc trait). See? I would still vouch for Aggressive as it is a more unique trait and helps to further separate the race from Half-Orcs or Goliaths, but I think it's balanced enough either way really. - Guy (talk) 10:34, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
