Shield Bonus[edit]

While wielding a shield, you have a +2 bonus to your AC.

Other effects and features can also grant you a "shield bonus" to your AC. If multiple effects grant you a shield bonus, only the largest applies.


Note: This rule is meant for homebrew content, but the Dual Wielder feat is an example of official content that would grant a shield bonus.
