This item resembles a firm, black-wound saddle. When strapped to an appropriate mount, it bestows upon the rider a competence bonus to Ride checks equal to the saddle's enhancement bonus.
Prereqs: Craft Wondrous Item, phantom steed. Caster level must be at least equal to the saddle's enhancement bonus.
