You place the quill on top of a book, drawing, maps or similar documents and cast the spell to imbue the content inside the quill. When you place the quill again on sufficient papers or a big enough surface an ethereal creature appears and picks up the quill. He then writes down the copied content in a blinding speed and absolute precession. After finishing takes the quill as a payment and vanishes away.
