Tail: At the back, the Na'vi have a prehensile tail, which is long and thin, and can be used for various functions, including communication with other creatures and balance.

Hands and Feet: The Na'vi's hands have three long, slender fingers, while their feet have four toes. Both have interdigital membranes, similar to those of birds, which allow them to swim and move efficiently in water.

Hair: They have long, usually braided hair that possesses nerve-like properties and can connect with other creatures or the nature around them.

History[edit]

The Na'vi are a species native to the lush moon of Pandora. For centuries, they lived in harmony with their environment, deeply connected to the land and its spiritual energies. However, the arrival of human colonizers brought significant changes, leading to conflicts over resources and the preservation of their way of life.

Society[edit]

The Na'vi live in tribes scattered across Pandora's vast landscapes. Each tribe is led by a clan chieftain and governed by spiritual leaders known as Tsahìk and Olo'eyktan. They have a deep respect for their ancestral traditions and the interconnectedness of all living things. Their society is structured around communal values, where every member contributes to the well-being of the tribe.

Na'vi Traits[edit]

The Na'vi are a tall, strong, and spiritually connected race.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. The Na'vi reach maturity at around 18 years and can live up to 90 years.
Alignment. The Na'vi are generally neutral, prioritizing harmony with nature.
Size. The Na'vi are tall and large, standing between 9 and 10 feet. Your size is medium or Large.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet. You also have a climbing speed of 30 feet.
Sharp Instincts. Years of evolution in Pandora's hostile environment sharpen the Na'vi's senses. You can see in dim light within 60 feet as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light and you have Advantages in perception tests that depend on smell and hearing.
Prehensile Tail. Your prehensile tail allows you to hold a small object with it while keeping your hands free.
Animal Connection. As an action, you can connect your braid to a beast. Make an Animal Handling check against the creature's Wisdom saving throw. On a success, the beast becomes your companion. You can mount the beast without needing to make an Animal Handling check. You share a telepathic bond with the beast, allowing communication without speech. It will attempt to follow your commands to the best of its abilities. You are aware of all its available actions, and in combat, you can use one of its available actions instead of your own. After leveling up while bonded with a beast, you are considered Proficient in connecting your braid to that specific creature. That is, you don't need to make any tests again if you want to connect with this creature. This only applies to wild creatures, since it is natural for them to not allow a stranger to touch them. In the case of creatures that have already been domesticated, it is likely that you will not face too many problems in making the connection. There are animals that accept connection with different individuals, and there are those that accept only one leader, such as the Ikrans, with the first connection being essential to establish a bond with this second type of creature, as they are usually loyal to their masters until death. It is up to the DM to define how the bond with that specific species works.
Na'vi Resistance. Your maximum hit points increase by 1, and they increase by 1 every time you gain a level.
Aversion to Artificial Environments. In highly urbanized or enclosed environments, you may feel uncomfortable. A Na'vi spending several days in such places might experience nausea, dizziness, and severe headaches. However, you could live in a small countryside village without these adverse effects.
Ancestral Memories. You can connect the tip of your braid to a tree or plant. Doing so allows you to vaguely access the memories of your ancestors, granting you proficiency in a skill of your choice as the ancestor imparts their knowledge to you. Every Na'vi is proficient in Animal Handling from birth due to their deep connection with nature. The additional proficiency from this feature lasts until you use it again.
Powerful Constitution. Regardless of whether it is a medium or large creature, the weight you can lift, carry or push counts as that of a large creature
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Na'vi.
