ACTIONS

Kick. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

REACTIONS

Sudden Turn. In response to being hit by an attack, the macrauchenia moves 5 feet in any direction other than towards the attacker, and gains a +2 bonus to its AC until the start of its next turn.

Macrauchenia are unusual looking mammals that resemble a camel or llama, but with feet more similar to a rhinoceros and a strange feature on which sources disagree: some say it is a trunk like that of a tapir or saiga antelope but others conclude it simply had a large, fleshy nose similar to a moose. Regardless, these herd living animals are mixed feeders, happy to dine on grasses as readily as leaves, and use their speed and agility to evade predators, easily able to make sharp turns even at high speeds.
