Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage. If the creature that is hit has a flammable object on their person, that object lights on fire. Until the creature takes an action to douse the flames, the creature takes 5 (1d10) fire damage.

Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage. If the creature that is hit has a flammable object on their person, that object lights on fire. Until the creature takes an action to douse the flames, the creature takes 5 (1d10) fire damage.

A phoenix is a powerful being of fire, one that seems to be more into protecting its loved ones than attacking human settlements. Some have claimed that a phoenix has attacked them viciously, but that's not true at all. They only attack when they feel threatened or when they feel that phoenixes in the area are threatened. This can happen in any amount of ways and are all deadly. They are not merciful creatures, but if you leave them alone, and maybe give a healthy radius around them, you'll be left alone. They are particularly hated by dryads and sprites as they sometimes burn down trees when defending their family. They are liked by fire giants who tend to keep phoenix eggs safe, and in return, the phoenixes keep them safe from adventurers and assassins. Not that they'd need help, of course...
