Armor (shield), legendary (requires attunement) Made purely from metal and engraved with the head of a dragon, this shield was lost to the ages, until recently. To the untrained eye, this is just a normal shield, but those who are affiliated with dragonkind know of its hidden true potential. Armor Class Bonus. You gain a +3 bonus to AC while you wield this shield. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC. Dragon Flight. As a bonus action, you can sprout or stow a pair of dragon wings, which grant a flying speed equal to your walking speed while sprouted. Draconic Shield. If the Great Dragon Shield is attuned by a Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer or a Monk of the Ascendant Dragon, they are considered proficient in it, and the shield does not interfere with any features that normally prohibit the use of a shield. |
