Gandr Shot
evocation cantrip
Casting time: 1 Action
Range: 120 ft
Components: S
Duration: Instantaneous

The caster points its index finger at the target before taking aim and firing a projectile manifestation of a curse at a target within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d4+1 Necrotic damage. If a 4 is rolled on the damaged dice, the target is poisoned until the end of the caster's next turn. Additionally, if any curse shot fired by this cantrip critically strikes a target, they will become poisoned until the start of your next turn. Due to the nature of Gandr Shot firing curses at a target, this cantrip cannot kill a creature if it reduces their hit points to 0 and will instead knock them unconscious.

At Higher Levels. The spell creates more than one curse when you reach higher levels: two curses at 5th level, three curses at 11th level, and four curses at 17th level. You can direct the curses at the same target or at different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each curse.
