Aasimar Subrace[edit]

Fallen angels are sometimes equated to fallen aasimar. A small, but important difference exists to differentiate them. Fallen aasimar are known to have had their inner divine light replaced with darkness. Fallen angels, in contrast, simply lose a fragment of this light, gaining a core of both dark and light. This makes them much more human in essence. They are said to be the sort who act neither as villains nor guides, but as the struggling characters who deal with mortality and morality as many others do.

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1. As normal, you cannot increase any ability score over 20 with this trait.
Mixed Protector. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the divine energy within yourself, causing a single wing to sprout from one side of your back.
Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, you have advantage in Charisma (Persuasion) checks. Also, once on each of your turns, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage taken by a creature within 10 feet of you, including yourself. The reduction of this damage is equal to your level.
Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
