Physical Description[edit]

eliotropes have cyan eyes with similar hair structure to glowing trees

History[edit]

they appeared during a freak accident when mages,alchemists,and demons caused a wormhole in time and space. although the place they lived was far, it was also lonely

Society[edit]

their race tends to blend into society quite well, but due to their ability to create portals, they have been hunted for the better part of their lives

eliotropes tend to have their own language, but have allowed humans to simplify their names.

Male: yugo, tovel, grekard Female: Asuna, krippa, kroto

portal makers haunted for their abilities.
Ability Score Increase. < int +2 due to having too much time, also +1 to constitution due to dealing with space often-->
Age. eliotropes age like humans, but mature slower, they also live at least 200 years before showing signs of age beyond 25

suspicious. {due to having been transported in a freak accident, eliotropes have been getting adept at telling if one means them harm(advantage on insight checks determining their well being)
natural portal masters. as an action, eliotropes can make a portal 5-15 feet away from them. they are magic for purposes of spell save dc and the like. if all portals are closed while the eliotrope is in transit, the eliotrope makes an emergency exit 5 feet from the most recently closed one, enemies of the allotrope must make an intelligence save against the portal, on a fail the portal ejects the creature into a random plane (dm decides where)
magical. eliotropes are innately knowledgeable about magic, thus they can use that to pass some of their abilities through their portals

most allotrope ideals revolve around freedom, work with your DM to determine how your character met with the group, maybe the party was fighting a dragon and a shadowy figure was in the background, or maybe an observer was wandering close by.
