These completely bald chickens can stand 3'00-4'00. Many have weird spike-like protrusions from their spinal cord.

Dire Chickens are mainly hidden around corners and jump out to peck unsespecting PCs.

Dire Chicken Lore[edit]

A character knows the following information with a successful Nature check.

DC 10: These chickens have been genetically mutated. They harm plants and animals by pecking.

Encounter Groups[edit]

Dire Chickens usually are in groups of 5-7 chickens.
