Tiefling Subrace[edit]
The Lord of the Darkened Depths is one of the most powerful demon lords within the Abyss, and an ancient being said to be lurking in the Abyss when the first primordials entered into the Abyss. Those tieflings tied to Dagon often had octopus or fishlike traits, often having gills, small tentacles along their body, or dark rubbery skin, while also possessing powers of the storm.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Abyssal Resistance. You gain resistance to lightning damage. (This trait replaces Hellish Resistance.)
Amphibious. You always know which direction is north, and you have advantage on any Wisdom (Survival) check you make to navigate or track, or on any Wisdom (Perception) check you make to notice differences in locations you’ve already seen.
Legacy of the Shadowsea. You know either the shocking grasp cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast create or destroy water spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast gust of wind once. You must finish a long rest to cast one of these spells again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
