Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: You get a freaking +6 ASI. Oh, and you're Large size. And have way more than the official race movement speed. As if that wasn't enough, you also have unlimited poisoning capabilities, higher-than-monk unarmed strikes (two, not just one!), a cantrip-equivalent, and a smattering of other things that just make this way over the top. Please refer to how actual official races are balanced, because this puts even a yuan-ti to shame.

Cindsler[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Cindsler are the rare progeny of Cinderace and Sneasler, bearing traits reminiscent of their dual heritage. They stand with a striking posture, their bodies covered in pale blue skin. Their asymmetrical ears – a long, purple-pink left ear contrasting with a shorter, standard right ear – swivel to catch the subtlest sounds. Below the waist, their legs are thick and fluffy, culminating in sharp claws designed for both predation and precision. Their arms end in formidable, oversized claws, a natural arsenal not to be trifled with. Atop their heads and embedded in their chests are two distinct yellow gems, shimmering with an inner light. A set of fluffy whiskers frame their visages, and a small, rabbit-like tail completes their silhouette.

Personality[edit]

Cindsler possess a temperament forged by their unique lineage. Their independence is paramount, often leading them to solitude or small enclaves high in the mountains. They are creatures of few words, their trust hard-earned and seldom given. A Cindsler's loyalty, once secured, is as steadfast as the stone of their alpine homes. They approach life with a robust sense of self-reliance, often perceived as standoffish or aloof by other species. They don't get along with others and are slow to make new friends.

History and Society[edit]

The origin of the Cindsler is a tale of uncommon affection – a Cinderace and Sneasler, against the odds, entwined their fates. The Cindsler are their descendants, a new lineage that embodies the strengths of both. This novel species multiplied, initially through further crossbreeding, but eventually, the Cindsler sought out their own kind to secure their future. Their society is sparse by design, with small villages of no more than twenty individuals or solitary Cindsler wandering the ranges. They are not known for their hospitality, preferring the stark solitude of their mountainous realms.
