This is a two-wheeled, open vehicle for transporting no more than 2 people. In general, one or two horses (or other beasts of burden) draw it. A chariot comes with the harness needed to pull it. It moves at the speed of the slowest creature dragging it. It is unable to carry more than 700 pounds if wood, 1500 pounds if steel. A chariot can be made of wood or iron. both mountable creatures dragging a chariot made of wood must have a strength score of 10 or greater. Both mountable creatures dragging a chariot made of iron must have a strength score of 18 or greater.

If the mounts dragging a chariot fail to meet the strength requirement the chariot can only move at half of the slowest creatures speed.

Cost: 500 gp for wood. 1500 gp for iron.
