Duration:	Instantaneous

When being targeted by a spell or magical effect that is a ranged or melee spell attack or covers an area, you sweep your left hand from you right shoulder, expanding it to the left as in an opening a door movement. If the spell is of 3rd level or lower, you absorb it, making it have no effect. If the spell is of 4th level or higher, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a success, you absorb it. When you absorb a spell with this spell, 3 magical translucent blue blades appear above your head forming an arch. These blades last for 1 minute, during which at any point as a Bonus Action you may target a creature within 20 feet of you to make a ranged spell attack against, launching the blades against them, dealing 3d4 force damage on a hit.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the spell is absorbed if it's level is less than or equal to the level of the spell slot you used.
