Blessed of the Ashes[edit]

Warlock Subclass (You must be Undead to use this subclass.)

You were once a soldier, striving amongst your nameless brethren. You fought, tooth and nail in wars to benefit, or defend your nation. However, you didn't fight hard enough. Your legions fell, and those who were innocent were slaughtered, captured, enslaved. From beyond the grave, you rose, with a fire in your once cold heart. Perhaps a being that wished to see your empire rise oncemore, or perhaps a being that wishes carnage upon the world. You might not know. You might not care. But one thing is clear... You shall fight with the fervor of all who once fought beside you, for the glory of your people.

We Shall Never Fall

You have felt the cold of death, and you strive to melt it away. You gain this feature at level one. You can instantly restore 1d4 health to any downed creature as a reaction, but take 1d4 necrotic damage. Resistances and immunities do not affect the damage, but the healing will not affect constructs. You can use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short/long rest.

Debt of Blood

You have watched countless allies fall. You will not allow any more to be taken. You gain this feature at level 6. When any enemy attacks you or any ally 60 feet with a physical attack, you mark that enemy. When they are attacked next, they will take an extra die of that damage (spears do extra 1d6 damage, etc). You can use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Invoke the Undying Ashes

You can feel the warmth of a hearth, a celebration. You have felt the blaze of war, a slaughter. You have mastered the flames within, and can use them to heal, and to harm. You gain this feature at 10th level. You can use Fight as One, for the Glory of Victory, and Fall Alone, To Feel Death's Embrace.

Fight as One, For The Glory of Victory (ITUA)

You choose one ally within 30 feet and in sight line. Whenever you take an action, they take an action. Whenever they take an action, you take an action. You can only have one target affected by Fight, For The Glory of Victory, and can switch using an action. You cannot switch targets if you are using the ability while using an action provided by the current target. If they move 120 or more feet away from you, the ability is cancelled. You can switch or activate this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Fall Alone, To Feel Death's Embrace (ITUA)

Choose one enemy within 30 feet and in sight line. This enemy is forced to make a Constituion saving throw equal to your spell save DC. Upon failure, you can force that enemy prone, and deal 1d6 fire damage at the end of your turn to the affected enemy. This effect lasts 1 minute, the target is dead, or the concentration is broken. You can cancel this ability at any time. You can switch or activate this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

The Sole Survivor, the Avatar of Righteous Inferno

While others watch from afar, watching the armies march and take the lives of innocents, you stand alone against the tides of those unworthy of the title of soldier. You gain this feature at 14th level. You can unleash fire in 30 feet circle all around you. Roll 3d12 fire damage. For every enemy killed in the fire, roll a D2. Upon rolling a 2, that target is raised as a Servant of the Ashes. You can use this twice during long rest.
