5e SRD talk:Vine Blight

The Vine Blight is not part of the Open Game License for 5e, nor is it part of the System Reference Document and should not be listed as such

But the vine blight is in the official monster manual. Why wouldn't they include it in those other official docs as well?? Clockwerk66 (talk) 13:45, 15 December 2016 (MST)

SRD means System Reference Document. to quote Wizards LLC "The Systems Reference Document (SRD) contains guidelines for publishing content under the Open-Gaming License (OGL)" Vine blight is not a part of the SRD or OGL and shouldn't be labeled as SRD. The mislabeling of SRD could lead independant developers to include the Vine Blight in their own published works and unintentianally breach copyright laws.
