[edit] Balrog hide

Balrog hide is the tough hide of the Balrog (obviously) as it is resistant to magic, it must be treated in another manner, which the few smiths who make armor from it guard closeley.

Balrog hide can only substitute leather in armor, so only armor suits that are fully or partially made from leather can use Balrog leather.

Balrog hide provides a damage reduction of 5 from slashing, bludgeoning, fire and magical damage.

Balrog hide has 17 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 17.
