  1. The SRD only gives a means to determine costs and weights of weapons for Large and Small versions based on the Medium weapons. the weight varies greatly because of the weights on the end. bigger weights=higher cost. the rope weighs about 2 lbs

A simple rope (5ft long) with a weight on each end. the weight on the end is (normally) solid. But, if the weapon is not solid, but instead hollow, you may fill it with oil. to do this you jsut put the weight inside the oil and it will absorb & hold the oil. Oddly enough only 1/4 of the weight of the oil is actualy felt by the user, therefore you can hold more oil with less problems. It will absorb (for each weight) about 6lbs of oil for every 2 lbs of steel. When lit you changes the weapons stats to the following...

Yousei's liúxīng chuí (meteor hammer)

When lit it will burn for 1d4 rounds per pound of oil. this weapon, wen lit, takes 1 dmg per round. when using it while lit, you must have an exotic proficiency feat (flaming meteor) or take a -4 on attack rolls and take 1d4dmg (to user) every time you miss your target.

The reason it is called Yousei's liúxīng chuí (meteor hammer) because he developed the holding chamber, and used it in the 3rd great war. Yousei's original weapon was 62 lbs, holding 120lbs of oil, alot heavyer than most weapons, but Yousei could handle the weapons easily swinging the liúxīng chuí quickly, bashing in enemies with two twin meteors.
