Artifact (axe), Legendary (Requires attunement.)
Created by the god Moradin for dwarven kings, Waraxe of the Dwarvish Lord is a keen +6 throwing, returning, goblinoid bane and giant bane dwarven waraxe. Any dwarf who holds it triples dwarf positive reactions, doubles the range of their darkvision, and increasing both their Constitution and Wisdom scores by 4. Any non-dwarf that holds the axe takes 4 points of temporary Charisma damage; these points cannot be healed or restored in any way while the axe is held. While attuned to the axe, you gain a +10 bonus on craft (armorsmithing, blacksmithing, gemcutting, stonemasonry, and weaponsmithing) checks.
- When underground the axe grants the effects of a ring of regeneration to any attuned creature. minor beneficial properties
- The creature attuned to the axe can summon an elder earth or fire elemental (as summon monster IX; duration 20 rounds). Use of this spell is restored at dawn. Additionally, the axe can hold up to 2 charges for each of the following spells: mass heal, mass death ward, mass protection from elements (fire and earth only). These spells can only be cast if the creature attuned to the axe is a dwarf, and the spells are cast targeting dwarves. The axe may gain charges for one spell at dawn. The axe also holds one charge for the true resurrection spell. The charge for this spell can only attempt to be regained once every 7 dawns. major beneficial properties
Destroying the Waraxe of the Dwarvish Lords. The Axe of the Dwarvish Lords rusts away to nothing if it is ever used by a Goblin King of Giants to behead a dwarven king.
