Void folk are people who have been born with the curse of emptiness. They are not human, although they look like it. The one thing that sets the void folk apart physically from other humans is that void folk are born without pupils, their eyes being pure black. Because they lack a true soul, their bodies and minds deteriorate much quicker than others. Upon reaching adulthood, void folk begin deteriorating quicker mentally, all while their connection to The Void and its magic grows stronger; This is a rather dangerous combination.
History[edit]
The history of the void folk is shrouded in mystery, known to those only chosen by the void folk. Void Folk were created by The Void, a sentient plane of an eternal gray and a lack of time. The Void would take a human body, tearing the soul from its mind, and replacing it with a piece of The Void itself.
Society[edit]
Void Folk, although not technically human, still get along fine in human society. If raised in human society, they may not have many friends, and some may be afraid or hostile towards them, but they can live their life the same as most other humans. They tend to favorite magical professions, the power of The Void aiding them in any magical pursuit.
