Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Almost all animal forms have something wrong with them, way too much to describe here. I suggest reffering to race design guide before fixing this. Also, how those "Addons" work? There is no text explaining them, and many of them seem obviously more powerful than others. If changing into an animal is the core trait for this race, you should probably NOT be indistinguishable from the creatures you are copying. There should be a investigation/perception/nature check to notice you aren't the animal whose form you have adapted. Other than for reasons relating to size, why would ever choose to be a cat over a wolf? You gain exactly the same traits, and you get 2 additional, beneficial traits on top of that. One of which is conditional, barely, advantage on attack rolls. Similar problems can be seen with arctic foxes. Drow are an example of elves with advantages over other elven forms, but also suffer a cost due to their highly specific environment.

Uxar[edit]

Alien Shapeshifters

History[edit]

On the planet of uxar there are many animals and humans they live in harmony all for the soul purpose of creating milk and honey for the fairies who rule over them as gods and goddesses the fairies can only eat milk and honey so they rely on the creatures on uxar to bring them food queen moonglow ruled for a very long time and she was the best queen and worshipped by all until she was overthrown by empress marigold who had been exiled for a long time until she found her way back to the planet full of rage and power she destroyed the queen and took the throne for herself without a stable ruler on the throne the universe which uxar is in started to crumble and destroy itself no one knew why but portals also started to appear which took whoever fell through them to other universes after a long time of this no one was in the universe and it was in ruins just chunks of planet and stars floating through an immense dark void the fairies went to another universe and have been going from world to world taking them over and destroying them in turn when the world was good some humans were blessed with the ability to turn into creatures and some creatures were blessed with the ability to turn into humans

Society[edit]

some characteristics pass from each form like hair color/fur color, eye color/design and anything else you want to factor over some creatures have one soul and others have two souls two souls means being merged while one soul means being blessed or cursed the creature forms could be normal or have an elemental add-on that affects the type of damage or a limb add-on like a bear with wings they can look however you want they just have to work with the sub race you picked and add-on they where raised to listen the fairies no matter what they told them so they listen to authority very closely
