Ophidian[edit]

"Snakes with arms and legs, how is this not freaking you out?" — Anybody with a fear of snakes

Physical Description[edit]

Ophidians are distinct in that they are serpents with arms and legs; this makes them both more versatile and less physically capable than their cousins, the Naga.

History[edit]

Nobody knows when the first Ophidians appeared, which is harder to nail down due to conflicting accounts of their supposed from multiple sources in the archives of almost every other race regarding them.

"Those who do not know of them, or have limited knowledge of them, often confuse them for their surprisingly distant relatives known as the Yuan-ti."

By and large, Ophidians have little to no care about such things. However, due to their physical capabilities, the race does have a prolonged history of being slaves to various other "Civilized" races

=Making an Ophidian[edit]

When making an Ophidian, you should be aware of the setting, due to some of their distinct properties. Keep in mind; they are exothermic, which means they are literally coldblooded and require extra concessions in cooler to colder places to be better effective.

Ophidian Names[edit]

Unlike most races, Ophidian names only barely follow a scheme. Males tend to have names beginning with O and females usually tend to have names beginning in S. Other than that they almost always have what appears to be a last name that is the name of a species of snake, usually the type they have some level similarity to.
