Troll[edit]

Troll Traits[edit]

It's hard to make generalizations about Trolls, but your troll character has these traits.
Ability Score Increase. Your ability scores each increase by 1.
Age. Troll life spans vary by their position on the Hemospectrum.
Alignment. Trolls tend toward no particular alignment. The best and the worst are found among them.
Size. Regardless of your height and build, your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common.
Subrace. Each Troll has a position on the Hemospectrum.

Hemospectrum[edit]

Rust[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age. Rustbloods can live for about 36 years of age.
1st-level Spell. You can cast one 1st-level spell of your choice from the Spell List once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.

Bronze[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. Bronze bloods can live for about 52 years of age.
1st-level Spell. You can cast one 1st-level spell of your choice from the Spell List once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for it.

Gold[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Age. Gold bloods have about the same lifespan as humans.
1st-level Spell. You can cast one 1st-level spell of your choice from the Spell List once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.

Olive[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age. Olive bloods have a lifespan a bit longer than a human.
Keen Senses. You gain proficiency in the Perception skill.
Skill Versatility. You have proficiency in two more skills of your choice.
Darkvision. Olive bloods are natural nocturnal hunters. You can see in dim light within 90 feet of you as if it were bright light, and within 60 feet of darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Jade[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. Jade bloods can easily live for greater than a century.
Heightened Focus. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.
Natural Caretakers. You gain proficiency in the Performance skill.
Relentless Endurance. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Teal[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Age. Teal bloods can easily live for greater than a century.
Method of loci. You gain proficiency in the Investigation and History skills.
1st-level Spell. When you reach 2nd level, you can cast one 1st-level spell of your choice from the Spell List once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.
Languages. Common and Draconic

Cerulean[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Age. Cerulean bloods can live for centuries.
1st-level Spell. When you reach 2nd level, you can cast one 1st-level spell of your choice from the Spell List once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.

Indigo[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2.
Age. Indigo bloods can live for centuries.
Value in Strength. You have advantage on Strength saving throws and Athletics (Strength) skill checks.
Offputting. You can't be charmed or frightened, but you have disadvantage on Persuasion checks.
Pulverize. You have proficiency with the flail, maul, warhammer, yo-yo, and any other martial melee weapon that deals bludgeoning damage.

Purple[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2.
Age. Purple bloods can easily live for greater than a millennium.
Dark Carnival. You gain proficiency in the Performance and Religion skills.
Clown Immunity. Starting after you reach 3rd level, when rolling a death saving throw, re-roll for results less than 10.
1st-level Spell. When you reach 5th level, you can cast Chucklevoodoos once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

Violet[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2.
Age. Violet bloods can easily live for greater than a millennium.
Amphibious. You can breathe underwater.
Clown Immunity. When rolling a death saving throw, re-roll for results less than 10.

Fuchsia[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2.
Age. Fuchsia bloods can live for many millennia.
Amphibious. You can breathe underwater.
Clown Immunity. When you reach 5th level, you can cast When rolling a death saving throw, re-roll for results less than 10.
1st-level Spell. When you reach 5th level, you can cast one 1st-level spell of your choice from the Spell List once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.
