The Slime (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Slimes are, well slimes. They are a gelatinous goo which has taken sentient life due to unknow means. They generally start off small looking of a color which they are mostly made up of but later on learn to control there color and grow upon consumption of anything they can get. As they eat more and more they may start to try to take the shape of that which they eat or that which they take the time too study and try to imitate the shape. If enough is consumed or studied they can even pass as what they wish to imitate.
Slimes first appeared some 1,000 years ago, and rumour has it that they were first created by a mad alchemist who attempted to play god, but failed miserably. Not much else is known about them other than that they are fun, loving, playful and above all else, endlessly curious.
Slimes are a rare occurence.
