Simplified Temptress (More Safe For Work/Conventional campaigns)[edit]

Aura of Seduction (Simplified Curse)[edit]

The following is the simplified iteration of the curse.

An Aura of Seduction curse that is usually bestowed upon by a passive aggressive deity. It is either obtained at birth, or is simply gained through angering a deity, or simply via certain cursed items. Effects of this curse start showing up at the start of puberty.

Intelligent NPCs interacting with curse bearers within the aura's range out of combat range somehow expect the curse bearer to be submissive to them. If the curse bearer isn't, the curse bearer and NPC make opposed skill checks. The Curse bearer's Diplomacy or Bluff check vs the NPC's Dimplomacy. If the curse bearer loses the check, the NPC's attitude drops 1 level (See Diplomacy).

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the simplified iteration of Temptress.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency:[edit]

Temptresses are proficient with all simple weapons. Temptresses are proficient with light armor, but not with shields.

Temptress Class lock:[edit]

Temptresses become hooked to the thrill of bending others to their will.

Once a character takes the first level in temptress, they cannot multiclass in other classes until the 10th level of Temptress.

Characters taking the 11th level in temptress get hooked again and cannot multiclass in other classes until 20th level of Temptress.

Aura of Seduction (Simplified Temptress) (Sp):[edit]

Temptresses uses the Aura they're cursed with to their advantage.

When making the opposed skill check caused by the curse [see Aura of Seduction (Simplified Curse) above], winning or tying the opposed check improves NPC attitude by one level up to a maximum of "Indifferent" via the Aura.

At level 4, attitude increase becomes a two level attitude increase to a maximum of "Friendly" via the Aura.

At level 10, the maximum attitude increase via the Aura becomes "Helpful".

At level 16, the Temptress gets to roll their check twice and take the higher roll.

Social Finesse:[edit]

At level 1, a Temptress can use their Cha in place of their Wis on a Sense Motive check.

Bonus to Bluff and Diplomacy:[edit]

At level 2, a Temptress gains a +2 bonus to bluff and diplomacy skill checks due to their social finesse.

This bonus increases to +4 at level 9 and to +6 at level 17.

Seductive Grasp (Ex):[edit]

Temptresses have learned ways to get close and intimate with a hostile creature, hindering their movements and their thoughts with seductive temptations.

The following are the mechanics of Seductive Grasp (which is basically a grapple).

This move works exactly like a grapple, except Temptresses uses their Cha modifier and non-Temptresses uses their Wis modifier instead of Str for the "grapple checks" for this move.

All bonuses that would apply to an ordinary grapple can also be applied to Seductive Grasp checks.

It’s still different from a grapple and this move cannot convert to a grapple or vice versa without the “Puppeted Defense” class feature (see below). Non-Temptresses can't join a Seductive Grasp and ranged attacks do not suffer a 50% chance to hit the wrong target, unlike a normal grapple. Temptresses can still pin down grasped enemy by making the Seductive Grasp check mentioned above with a standard action in order to immobilize them for one round with their Grasp.

If you deal any damage except non-lethal damage to a grasped enemy’s hit points, you lose your Cha modifier to your Seductive Grasp checks until the end of combat towards that enemy.

Improved Seductive Grasp: At level 4, you are no longer treated as flat footed in a Seductive Grasp.

At level 9, you gain a +4 to the Seductive Grasp checks vs creatures 1 size bigger than you. In addition, you can use your Temptress class level in place of your Base Attack Bonus on Seductive Grasp checks.

At level 18 this bonus increases to +8 and Seductive Grasp works on creatures bigger than you up to 2 sizes.

Coaxing Malice (Ex):[edit]

A Temptress can sap at a creature’s consciousness by abusing their lust if they are in their Seductive Grasp.

At level 2, in addition to all the normal grapple actions that a Temptress can make in their Seductive Grasp, they can also use Coaxing Malice on an enemy.

Doing so works exactly like attacking your opponent in a grapple except the Temptress does not take a -4 to the attack roll, the damage dealt is non lethal and the Temptress adds on half their Cha modifier to attack and damage in place of Str.

The base damage dealt starts at 1d6 and increases to 1d8 at level 5, 1d10 at level 8, 2d6 at level 12, 2d8 at level 15 and 2d10 at level 19.

This non lethal damage can critically strike unless the creature is immune to criticals. Coaxing Malice can be counted as a type of melee weapon for the purpose of feats. (no weapon damage type).

Improved Coaxing Malice: At level 6, a Temptress uses their full Cha modifier instead of half during thier Coaxing Malice.

Greater Coaxing Malice: At level 14, a Temptress can choose to finish their Seductive Grasp on an enemy with a Coaxing Malice move. Double the dice for the Coaxing Malice damage and increase the critical threat range by +2 upon a successful Coaxing Malice and end the Seductive Grasp immediately. The Temptress cannot use Seductive Grasp on that same enemy for the next 2 rounds.

Superior Coaxing Malice: At level 19, a Temptress's Coaxing Malice applies a cumulative penalty to Will Saves by 1 whenever it deals non-lethal damage to a target. Penalty lasts 5 rounds, refreshing every time another penalty stack is applied. There's no limit to the penalty towards Will saves against Temptress Class features. The penalty limit is equal to the Temptress's Charisma modifier against Will Saves otherwise.

Alluring Arts of Seduction (Sp):[edit]

A Temptress learns how to automatically affect hostile enemies who are pinned in the Seductive Grasp move with their Aura.

At level 3, every round an enemy stays pinned in the Seductive Grasp move must make a Will save. (DC 10 + half class level + Cha mod, rounding down) Enemies who fail this save take a penalty (half of your Cha modifier + half class level, rounding down) split between your choice of the enemy’s Attack, Grapple checks and AC lasting 1 round / 2 Temptress levels (minimum 1 round).

Improved Alluring Arts of Seduction: At level 12, a Temptress doesn’t have to pin an enemy in their Seductive Grasp to use their Alluring Arts of Seduction on the enemy. In addition, pinning an enemies who are in a Seductive Grasp automatically makes them prone as well.

Puppeted Defense (Ex):[edit]

A Temptress can use an enemy who’s in his/her Seductive Grasp move as cover.

At level 5, the Temptress in a Seductive Grasp is considered behind Cover (+4 to AC, +0 to Reflex) against all attacks coming from outside the Seductive Grasp.

In addition, a Temptress can now transition from a normal grapple to a Seductive Grasp with a grapple check against all creatures in the grapple who wish to keep it. The Temptress gains a bonus to their grapple check equal to half their Cha. Upon a success, the Temptress chooses one creature who was in the grapple and puts them in a Seductive Grasp, shedding off any other creatures in the grapple.

Improved Puppeted Defense: At level 13, anyone attacking the Temptress has a 25% chance of hitting the enemy in the Temptress’s Seductive Grasp and the cover granted from Seductive Grasp isn't considered Soft Cover anymore (+4 to AC, +2 to Reflex).

In addition, a Temptress can now escape from a pin by attempting a grapple check at a bonus to their grapple check equal to half the Temptress's Cha.

Superior Puppeted Defense: At level 17, attacks targeting the Temptress now have a 50% chance of hitting the enemy up from 25% and the cover granted from Seductive Grasp is considered improved cover (+8 to AC, +4 to Reflex, Improved Evasion).

Intensify Aura(Sp):[edit]

A Temptress is capable of thickening his/her Aura, emanating highly intense waves of desire.

The following are the mechanics of Intensify Aura.

At level 7, gains the ability to intensify their Aura twice before running out of uses. Recovering uses of Intensify Aura requires at least "4 hours of rest" with another intelligent creature with a sexual drive. Refer to Class Table under "Intensify Aura Recovery Break point" to see how many uses are restored this way. Extra uses can be gained via additional "2 hour rests" with other intelligent creatures with sexual drives while possessing uses equal to or greater than the recovery break point (see Class table), each time giving half of what the last 2 or 4 hours of "rest" gave. These extra uses go away at the end of the day if unused.

If spending a use of Intensify Aura out of combat, an NPC attitude towards the Temptress increases an additional level upon winning the opposed check on the Temptress’s Aura. The maximum attitude the aura can raise the NPC's attitude to becomes “Fanatic”. (See epic Diplomacy uses) If increasing the NPC's attitude this way would change their attitude to "Fanatic", the NPC is allowed a Will Save (DC 10 + half Temptress Class level + Temptress Cha mod). The NPC remains at "Helpful" attitude on a success.

The intensified aura lasts 5 minutes per 2 class levels. Affected NPCs don't automatically revert attitudes after the aura loses intensity.

At level 20, the Will Save DC becomes (DC 20 + half Temptress Class level + Double Temptress Cha Mod)

If using Intensify Aura in combat, a Temptress can spend:

- 1 use to bypass a target creature's immunity to non-lethal damage with her Coaxing Malice for the rest of the encounter as a swift action.

- 1 use to have their Alluring Arts of Seduction affect an enemy within their Intensified Aura range (see Class Table) who’s not in the Temptress's Seductive Grasp move as a swift action.

- 1 use to double the DC and penalty for a creature currently affected by the Temptress's Alluring Arts of Seduction as a swift action.

- 2 uses to gain an AC bonus equal to their Cha modifier as long as they're is in a state of extreme undress (completely nude or only wearing underwear/sleepwear), and not holding any weapon. This AC bonus ends prematurely if the Temptress directly deals damage to anything other than non-lethal damage as an immediate action.

- 2 uses to forgo all size increases granted by any effect as a free action, and opt to take a +5 bonus to Seductive Grasp checks per size category increase forgone. Any effects granted along with the size increases are also forfeit, but picking this option converts these effects into Seductive Grasp bonuses for as long as the original effects last.

- 2 uses to turn half of all damage taken into non-lethal damage while in a Seductive grasp as an immediate action.

Whichever combat option he/she chooses, the effect of it lasts up to 1 round per 2 class levels unless otherwise noted.

A Temptress’s maximum usage increases by one at every odd level after level 7.

Masochist (Ex):[edit]

At level 7 a Temptress gains the ability to negate 1 point of non-lethal damage for every 3 Temptress levels once per round.

Greater Masochist: At level 15, a Temptress heals for 1 hit point for every 3 Temptress levels whenever they're dealt non-lethal damage. This replaces the original Masochist Class ability.

Master Manipulator:[edit]

At level 8, a Temptress gains the feat, Master Manipulator even if he/she does not meet the requirements.

The following is the description for Master Manipulator feat from Player's Hanbook II, pg 80.

This feat grants two new uses for the Diplomacy skill. You must share a language with a creature to use these options against it. Neither ability functions during combat.

Captivating Speech: You can distract a creature with your compelling delivery and witticisms. With a successful Diplomacy check opposed by the target's own Diplomacy check or Will save, you can impose a -4 penalty on the target's Listen, Sense Motive, and Spot checks so long as you continue speaking. You can affect a number of targets equal to 1 + your Cha bonus (if any), as long as they are all within 20 feet.

Trap of Words: If a creature attempts and fails to successfully to use Bluff to lie to you, you skillfully maneuver the conversation to confuse the target or trick him into letting slip a vital clue. After succeeding on your Sense Motive check, you can then engage the target in conversation for at least 1 minute. At the end of this time, make a Diplomacy check opposed by the target's Bluff check. If you succeed, the target inadvertently reveals his lie and the reason behind it.

Silver Tongue:[edit]

At level 11, a Temptress gains the feat Silver Tongue (From Dragon Magazine 318) even if he/she does not meet the requirements.

The following is the description for Master Manipulator feat from Dragon Magazine 318, pg 38.

You can use the Diplomacy skill (trained or untrained) to produce the following effects:

Change an NPC's attitude toward a person other than yourself. The DC is the same as if you were changing the character's attitude toward you.

Inspire love and devotion. If you successfully improve a character's attitude toward you (only) to helpful, you can choose to cause that character to show romantic interest in you. The character thereafter seeks every opportunity to be near you and makes every effort to win your affection, within the bounds of relatively normal behavior.

Inspire hope or despair. With a successful Diplomacy check against DC 25, you fill a single target with hope or despair, as if affected by the good hope or crushing despair spells. In the case of despair, the target can negate the effect with a successful Will saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 your Diplomacy ranks + your Charisma modifier).

Cause confusion. Make a Diplomacy check opposed by your target's Sense Motive check. If you beat your target's check result by 10 or more, you can cause him to become confused for 1 round. You can use this ability as a full-round action.

Full Temptress (Under Construction, is a mess atm)[edit]

Those cursed with an Aura of Seduction find all sorts of creatures lusting for them, purely to satisfy their urges. For years, Temptresses have learned to adapt and live with this curse, controlling and manipulating the Aura to work to their advantage. These Temptresses banded together and have created something akin to a sect which they call "The Rose Garden". This sect of people have recently been purposely bestowing the Aura of Seduction to it's initiates. Hence, more and more Temptresses have been appearing lately.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Temptress.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Temptresses are proficient with all simple weapons. Temptresses are proficient with light armor, but not with shields.

Aura of Seduction (Curse) (Sp): An Aura of Seduction curse that is usually bestowed upon by a passive aggressive deity. It is either obtained at birth, or is simply gained through angering a deity, or simply via certain cursed items. After the start of puberty, anyone cursed needs to make a bluff or diplomacy check (player may choose which) equal to (DC 5 + creature’s level) whenever a creature enters the 1 ft radius of the Aura in order to stop creatures from being filled with lust and desire for the curse holder. Failing this check results in the creatures attempting to passionately kiss or caress the curse holder. This aura is a mind-affecting magical effect on the curse holder and subject to spell resistance and Antimagic fields. Hence, the curse holder is not subject to being forced upon via the aura’s effects if the aura has been resisted with spell resistance/mind immunity or has been nullified. This curse always returns within a day if dispelled or removed by a spell like effect.

Aura of Seduction (Temptress) (Sp): Temptresses passively exudes a seducing aura that cannot be turned off and makes everyone lust for them. This Aura cannot be turned on and off at will. Any creature who the Temptress turns their attention to in a one foot radius (aura radius) is forced to make a Will save (DC 10 + ½ class level + CHA modifier) or become intoxicated by the aura. (Typically does not work in combat and does not affect player characters.) Creatures that make the save may result in turning hostile towards them. Affected creature's attitude towards the Temptress immediately improves by two levels while in range of the Aura. At level 4, affected creatures that end up above “indifferent” attitude are treated as charmed as if the spell “Charm Person” has been casted on them. A Temptress is only subject to a bluff or diplomacy check (player may choose which) to stop their lustful advances if a non hostile creature intoxicated by the Aura with a line of sight to the Temptress fails its will save, even if it's charmed. The DC for this is equal to 5 + ½ the amount the creature failed its will save by, rounded down. Failure results in the creature forcing themselves on the Temptress. If a creature simply in the Aura’s radius fails its will save with a line of sight to the an unconscious/asleep or helpless Temptress, they will also force themselves onto the Temptress. The will save DC to resist the Aura is increased by 1 per two class levels if the Temptress is helpless. Any creature who is simply in the Aura’s radius but not holding the attention of the Temptress makes a Will save always equal to half of the above mentioned save, rounded down. Failed saves result in immediate attitude improvement by one level. Otherwise nothing happens. At level 1, up to one creature may be affected by the aura intoxication. An additional creature may be affected at level 10 and again at level 16. Aura of Seduction increases it's size at levels 3,5,7,10,13,15,18, and 20. The Temptress has no active control over it’s size. At levels 5, 10, 15 and 20, a Temptress’s Aura allows her to become more attuned to magic, allowing her to cast spells she knows as if she were 1 caster level higher at level 5, 2 caster levels higher at level 10, 3 caster levels higher at level 15 and 4 caster levels higher at level 20. This feature alone does not grant her the ability to learn or cast spells. At level 20, Aura of Seduction's Will save against getting intoxicated from the Temptress’s attention becomes (DC 20 + class level + Cha mod) and the Will save for simply being in the aura becomes half of that. Creatures may not reach attitude levels above “helpful” without the use of Intensify Aura (see below).

Aura of Seduction (being forced upon) (Sp): Failing a diplomacy check to fend off aura induced lustful advances or being unable to make diplomacy checks results in being forced upon. Being forced upon through the Aura initiates combat against the affected creature(s) even if they are not hostile. The aggressive side gains a [-10 to movespeed, +6 bonus to initiative, +4 bonus to STR, and is temporarily granted Improved Grapple if they don’t have Improved Grapple] until the end of combat. These numbers are doubled if Intensify Aura was in effect at the start of combat. The members of aggressive side stops being aggressive and snaps out of their forcefulness if the victim manages to: -get out of the aggressor(s) line of sight -escape their grapple -avoids their initial grapple -put one member of the aggressive side in a Seductive Grasp (usually before a grapple starts) -gets someone else to deal damage to every member of the aggressive side (each member snaps out of their forcefulness upon taking damage) -after being left in its state for ½ an hour. If unconscious/asleep, the Temptress’s consciousness is suppressed by the Aura and she needs to make a Will save to wake up after taking nonlethal damage. (DC 10 + 1 per 2 nonlethal damage taken since start of combat).

Aggressing side will always try to start a grapple for their first turn. (See here for precise details of grappling: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Grapple ) (Grappler moves into the target’s personal space, provokes an attack of opportunity if grappler doesn’t possess Improved Grapple. Then grappler makes a melee touch attack to get into physical contact with the target. On a successful touch attack, make opposed grapple checks. On a success, grappler is in a grapple with target.)

Once in a grapple, any good alignment characters above the “indifferent” attitude towards the victim with line of vision to the victim, who aren’t a part of the aggressing side immediately will call for law enforcement and help break up the grapple. (Aura of Seduction still applies to anyone entering the radius) People attempting to help break up the grapple gain a bonus to their grapple checks equal to the Aura holder’s Cha modifier. At this point, the aggressive side will attempt to remove the minimum amount of garments (clothes) from both parties unless there is none to remove. It takes one swift action for the aggressive side to remove their own garments, one full round action make a grapple check to remove the victim’s garments. Upon successful garment removal, the aggressive side then deals nonlethal damage equal to 1 + 1 per size category larger than the victim as a free action. The aggressive then will attempt to pin the victim every round as well. Every two rounds in the grapple, the aggressive side will gain +1 to grapple checks or +2 if the Intensify Aura was in effect at the beginning of combat (accumulative). The aggressive side will continue to do this for each of their turns until end of combat. If the victim is knocked unconscious from this, the victim becomes fatigued, if the victim was already fatigued, they become exhausted, an already exhausted victim becomes depleted, and a already depleted victim takes 1 point of Str and Dex ability damage. If the victim is a Temptress, she does not gain any usages from being forced upon. Temptresses heal any nonlethal damage from this sort of combat 7 times faster than normal.

Willing Toy (Ex): A Temptress gains an insight bonus to skill checks equal to her Cha modifier against creatures with a “helpful” or higher level of attitude towards the Temptress when trying to seduce them.

Seductive Grasp (Ex): Temptresses have learned ways to get close and intimate with a hostile creature, hindering their movements and their thoughts with seductive temptations. This move works just like a grapple mechanically, except you use your Cha modifier and the enemy uses their Wis modifier in place of Str for the grapple checks for this move. It is not, however, a grapple, nor can anyone turn a grapple into a Seductive Grasp or vice versa without the “Puppeted Defense” feature. Others may not try to enter into this move and allies and enemies do not suffer a 50% chance to hit the wrong target, unlike a normal grapple. You can still pin down an enemy by making the modified grapple check mentioned above with a standard action in order to immobilize them for one round with your Grasp. All bonuses a character would gain to an ordinary grapple can also be applied to the modified grapple check that Seductive Grasp requires. If you deal damage to the grappled enemy’s hit points, you lose your Cha modifier to your modified grapple checks until the end of combat towards that enemy. The both you and the enemy are treated as if in a grapple.

Improved Seductive Grasp: At level 11, you gain a +4 to the modified Grapple checks vs creatures 1 size bigger than you. At level 18 this bonus increases to +8 and works on creatures bigger than you up to 2 sizes.

Bonus to Bluff and Diplomacy: At level 2, a Temptress gains a +2 bonus to bluff and diplomacy skill checks due to their social finesse. This bonus increases to +5 at level 9 and to +9 at level 17.

Coaxing Malice (Ex): At level 2, a Temptress can sap at a creature’s consciousness if they are in her Seductive Grasp. In addition to all the normal grapple actions that a Temptress can make in her Seductive Grasp, she can also use Coaxing Malice on an enemy. Doing so mechanically works exactly like attacking your opponent in a grapple except the Temptress does not take a -4 to attack and the damage dealt is non lethal and the Temptress adds on half her Cha modifier to the damage instead of Str. (More on non lethal damage: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Nonlethal_Damage ) The base damage dealt starts at 1d6 and increases to 1d8 at level 5, 1d10 at level 8, 2d6 at level 12, 2d8 at level 15 and 2d10 19. This non lethal damage can critically strike unless the creature is immune to criticals. Coaxing Malice can be counted as a type of melee weapon for the purpose of feats. (no weapon damage type).

Improved Coaxing Malice: At level 6, a Temptress uses her full Cha modifier instead of half of her Coaxing Malice.

Greater Coaxing Malice: At level 14, a Temptress can choose to end her Seductive Grasp on an enemy by using Coaxing Malice. Double the dice for the Coaxing Malice damage and increase the critical threat range by +2 upon a successful Coaxing Malice and end the Seductive Grasp immediately. The Temptress cannot use Seductive Grasp on that same enemy for the next 2 rounds.

Alluring Arts of Seduction (Sp): At level 3, a Temptress learns how to automatically affect hostile enemies who are pinned in the Seductive Grasp move with her Aura. Every round an enemy stays pinned in the Seductive Grasp move must make a will save. (DC 10 + half class level + Cha mod, rounding down) Enemies in combat that are affected by the Aura take a penalty (half of your Cha modifier + half class level, rounding down) split between the enemy’s Attack, Grapple checks and AC.

Improved Alluring Arts of Seduction: At level 12, a Temptress doesn’t have to pin an enemy in her Seductive Grasp to use her Alluring Arts of Seduction on them. In addition, pinning an enemies who are in a Seductive Grasp allows the Temptress to make a free Trip attempt, using a Charisma check as opposed to Strength Check.

Improved Grapple: At level 4, a Temptress gains the feat, Improved Grapple even if she does not meet the requirements.

Puppeted Defense (Ex): At level 5, a Temptress can use an enemy who’s in her Seductive Grasp move as cover. Anyone attacking the Temptress has a 25% of hitting the enemy in the Temptress’s Seductive Grasp. In addition, a Temptress can now transition from a normal grapple to a Seductive Grasp with a grapple check against all creatures in the grapple who wish to keep it. The tempress gains a bonus to her grapple check equal to ½ her Cha. Upon a success, the Temptress chooses one creature who was in the grapple and puts them in a Seductive Grasp, shedding off any other creatures.

Improved Puppeted Defense: At level 13, a Temptress is more skillful at using her Puppeted Defense. The chances of missing her and hitting the enemy go up to 50% from 25%. In addition, a Temptress can now escape from a pin by attempting a grapple check at a penalty equal to pinning creature’s STR modifier against that one creature pinning her. The Temptress gains a bonus to her grapple check equal to ½ her Cha. Upon a success, the Temptress prevents 1 point of nonlethal damage if she takes any nonlethal damage in the next round.

Money and Lust (Ex): At level 6, a Temptress gains an insight bonus to skill checks against anyone affected by her aura when trying to get them to give her a percent discount. This bonus is equal to your cha modifier x2. When using this bonus, a success grants a percent discount equal to your cha modifier, every 5 points beyond the DC check grants an additional percent discount equal to your cha modifier. At level 14, the percent discounts double (x2 Cha modifier instead of just Cha modifier)

Intensify Aura (Sp): At level 7, a Temptress is capable of thickening her Aura, emanating highly intense waves of desire.

If using Intensify Aura out of combat, a creature’s attitude towards the Temptress increases by three levels instead of two upon failing the will save to resist the the Temptress’s focused Aura. If using Intensify Aura would put the creature past “Helpful”, their attitude towards the Temptress becomes “Fanatic”.

(See here for Fanatic attitude levels: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/skills.htm#diplomacy )

If using Intensify Aura in combat, a Temptress may either try to apply her Alluring Arts of Seduction to an enemy within half her normal Aura range that’s not in her Seductive Grasp move, or double the DC and penalty on a creature currently affected by her Alluring Arts of Seduction. Alternatively, a Temptress can spend up to two usages of her Intensify Aura to gain an AC bonus equal to her cha modifier as long as she is in a state of extreme undress (completely nude or only wearing underwear/sleepwear), and not holding any object. This AC bonus ends prematurely if the Temptress directly deals damage to anything other than non-lethal damage. She can also use 4 usages to turn half of all damage taken into non-lethal damage while in a Seductive grasp.

Whichever combat option she chooses, the effect of it lasts up to 1 round per 2 class levels.

Master Manipulator: At level 8, a Temptress gains the feat, Master Manipulator even if she does not meet the requirements. (http://alcyius.com/dndtools/feats/players-handbook-ii--80/master-manipulator--1887/index.html)

Silver Tongue: At level 12, a Temptress gains the feat Silver Tongue even if she does not meet the requirements. (http://www.realmshelps.net/charbuild/feat/Silver_Tongue)

Ex-Temptress[edit]

Having yourself cleansed of the curse that is the aura of seduction in some way will leave you unable to access your Temptress skills, as all of them revolve around having the aura of seduction.

Campaign Information[edit]

Playing a Temptress[edit]

Religion: The Temptress can follow any god or goddess, but the deity must allow the Temptress to sleep around, else the Temptress may find themselves without a god.

Other Classes: Any Lawful class may find them to be too promiscuous for interaction, and will want to disassociate themselves from a Temptress.

Combat: Their role in combat is that of a grappler. Locking down people in a less-than-sexual grapple, and more of a "killing you" grapple.

Advancement: This is meant to be played pure through to 20, for the full effect and benefit of the skills. Any multiclassing afterwards is up to the player, keeping in mind that you really can't be morally upstanding with this class in your levels.

Temptresses in the World[edit]

Should I make your heart rise...or...STOP!
—<-Unknown Temptress->, Human Temptress

<-Where characters of this class fit in a d20 world.->

Daily Life: Sex and being surrounded by any and all that would be attracted to them. That is essentially all the daily life of a Temptress is

Notables: No notable NPCs to date of this class.

Organizations: You could probably find a Temptress in a Tavern, inn, or brothel. Honestly anywhere a lot of people congregate, as they practically feed off attention

NPC Reactions: Some may be indifferent, but most will either be attracted to the Temptress or disgusted by their actions and promiscuity.

Temptress Lore[edit]

Characters with ranks in Knowledge (Arcana) or Knowledge (History) can research Temptresses to learn more about them. When a character makes a skill check, read or paraphrase the following, including information from lower DCs.

<-the appropriate skills->
DC Result
5 Temptresses can often be mistaken as merely a village whore, attracting and sleeping with many people within any urban area they find themselves in.
10 The Temptress is secretly still adept at combat, using her seductiveness as an advantage.
15 The Temptress is actually cursed with an aura of seduction, so they often didn't become this way by choice.
20 While on the surface a Temptress may look like just your common promiscuous girl who may be able to weasel information out of people of various importance in exchange for sexual favors, the Temptress is actually an expert grappler. If you get close to her and it isn't for the purpose of fornication, you can find yourself dead very quickly. Tread carefully and deal with a Temptress from a range if put into combat against one.
