Read the last line. I left out most of the modifiers for the mithral and masterwork qualities in case someone wishes to enchant it or construct it out of some other special material. I could probably word it a bit better, or just make it a baseline shield altogether, I suppose. -A Clockwork Lime

Regarding the balacing issues, which are hardly an issue to begin with, the shield is 1) not inexpensive compared to other shields and 2) requires an otherwise useless feat in order to take advantage of those aspects. -A Clockwork Lime
