Talk:Real Dragon (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
my first race
hello all this is my first complete race it is a human looking dragon with wings an a tail like a real dragon hope you all enjoy this race and i believe that it is balanced message me on my talk page before making changes --Alucarddragonborn (talk) 12:55, 15 November 2017 (MST)
- Isn't this just 3.5 dragonborn? BigShotFancyMan (talk) 13:47, 15 November 2017 (MST)
- Sorry double post (sort of) I see there's extra like losing a tail and ripped wing stuff, mighty powerful jowl too. So this is better than 3.5 dragonborn? In 3.5 you chose one aspect. This gives all three, in a system that's more balanced than its processor. If you want these features or body attachments, don't make them so....strong. They can be more cosmetic than utility/mechanic based and just flavorful pieces. I forget who it was on the other page (Geo or Gamer) but there was good suggestion for making dragonborn better but not overbearing. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 13:55, 15 November 2017 (MST)
well first i have never played 3.5e but i hear its cool and what i think your saying is keep the wings and tail but have them do nothing —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Alucarddragonborn (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts.
- To keep balanced with 5e, yes. The wings could over advantage on Athletics checks when jumping and the tail could over advantage on Acrobatics checks when balancing. Very similar to what Guy was suggesting as a slight nudge for the race. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 08:44, 16 November 2017 (MST)
