Sword Master[edit]

The Call Of The Blade[edit]

From a young upstart adventurer that buys his first blade that sings to him at the nearest blacksmith, to a veteran explorer that claims a legendary sword desired by many, the sword has always made its appearance in many stories. Either out of choice or pure desperation, the blade has been used by many to protect their friends or to kill their foes. But few are able to utilize the sword to its fullest potential, to be able to draw out the true strength of the weapon. Sword Masters spend their lifetime understanding the purpose of the blade, as well as finding their true calling in life, whether it were to become an infamous assassin that preys on the weak from the shadows using the deadliness of the blade to take down his target or to become a legendary warrior capable of taking on groups of enemies alone without help from others, the Sword Master may find his calling based on the path he chooses as he trains in the way of the blade.

Creating A Sword Master[edit]

First and foremost, you may choose Dexterity or Constitution as your highest stat modifier, based on whether you prefer an offensive or defensive play respectively. As for your background, choose any relevant backgrounds suited for this class. Lastly, it is recommended to choose a longsword as a part of your starting equipment, along with a bedroll, a torch, rations, a waterskin along with a satchel to carry all of it. But of course, this is ultimately based on the player's decision, at the discretion of the GM.

Consider the following during the creation of your Sword Master: The training of a Sword Master requires a tantamount of discipline, focus and patience.

  • Why was the blade calling out to you, among other weapons?
  • What drives you to pursue such a ambitious task?
  • What were your reasons to choose your current path?
  • What do you seek to accomplish with the knowledge and title you claim?
