Summoning of the Ant Hill
3rd-level Conjuration
Casting time: 1 action
Range: radius,30 ft.
Components: S,M(pinch of dirt)
Duration: 1 minute


Ants controlled by you occupy all unoccupied space within range. The ants continually spawn from ant hills, attacking them is ineffective, as they are replaced faster than they could be killed, creatures may attempt to attack these creatures not knowing this.

The ants impart the following effects:

Distracting bites: Each round creatures must succeed a dex saving throw against the casters DC to avoid suffering disadvantage on attacks.

False enemy: The ants don't actually cause any damage however their victims are likely to see them this way. Creatures must succeed a Wis saving throw against the casters DC, failing to do so results in regarding the ants as an attacker, granting attackers with advantage due to flanking. The creature may attempt this saving throw each round, once doing so, they will no longer suffer the flanking penalty but still may suffer the distracting bites.

Note: The ants bites are distracting but not damaging. Armour will not prevent the ants from entering, however any creature with natural armour (hide or better) will not be affected.


At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4 or higher the radius increases by 5 feet per level higher than third.
