Speaker For The Dead (4e Paragon Path)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search
Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Rune of Carnal Conscription should use the same mechanics as summoned creatures, and also note that the "basic" actions of elite and solo creatures are significantly more powerful than those of standard creatures

You can help D&D Wiki by better balancing the mechanics of this page. When the mechanics have been changed so that this template is no longer applicable please remove this template. If you do not understand balance please leave comments on this page's talk page before making any edits.

Warlock: Speaker For The Dead[edit]

You spent the anniversary of your mother's death looking for your sons in the mountains, despite the fact that they had been missing for a week already and were surely dead. Now your mother's ghost will go hungry in the Underworld for the next year and your sons are dead anyway. I'm here on her behalf to communicate her displeasure.

Prerequisite: Warlock, death pact

As a speaker for the dead, you are an ambassador of the underworld, exhorting mortals to respect those who have passed on, to provide the prayers and burnt offerings that are the departed's breath and sustenance, to observe proper burial rights and to respect the resting places of the dead. Many accuse you of cruelty and madness, but you know that your accusers are simply greedy and selfish, thinking nothing for the afterlives of others.
