Soul Severed (5e Race)

Soul severed are the unfortunate fey-like creatures who are born with deficient souls. They are doomed beings who have no future in any afterlife, and cannot be resurrected upon death by any means. They are cursed to nonexistence after death as some deity's cruel miscalculation.
Soul severed are humanoids who heavily resemble humans, but can have exotic skin tones, exotic hair and eye colors, and exaggerated physical features, such as fey-like eye shapes and ears.

Soul Severed Traits
Ability Score Increase. Your soul severed character will have a few abilities of your choice. You can choose two ability scores of your choice to increase by 2.
Age. Soul severed mature at 15 years, and can live to 120 years in age.
Alignment. Soul severed have no alignment tendencies.
Size. Soul severed sizes range from halfing height to half orc height. Depending on your height and weight, your size can vary from small to medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Soul-Lost. Upon death, soul severed characters cannot be resurrected by any means.
Desperation. Your character has proficiency in arcana checks.
Fey Traits. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic cannot put you to sleep.
Languages. You can read, write, and speak Common. You can have one extra language of your choice.
